Daffodil
After the lovely day yesterday it was back to dull and grey today. These daffies are growing near the car park at the woods, so when I took Xena out today I photographed some of them. The plantings has been staggered so while these are in full bloom, there are some that are just coming up, so we should get colour lasting there for a while.
While I was out grocery shopping Gavin arrived home from Switzerland, but he went straight to his office and has been working all day.
I went to the physio for another appointment today. Again she did ultrasound and laser on my wrist and then showed me exercises to do with a soft squeezy ball and some therapy putty. Both were given to me to take home free of charge! She also saw in my notes that I suffer with lower back pain so spent time showing me how to sit and stand correctly - the sitting is most important especially for long car journeys when I tend to get sciatica.
We have a PDI competition at camera club tonight. After encouraging members to enter competitions as there were so few entries in club class, we now have too many entries! Apparently the ideal number of entries for a judge to get through on the night is about 60 images, and at our last competition we had 98 entries. So we have a new ruling that when we have a large number of entries the top two classes will only get a critique on one of their entries, and a short comment on the other, to try to save time on the night. I hope I do better with my entries tonight as last time I was not lucky and the judge scored harshly for the advanced class entries.
