Frosty Morning
The alarm went off at the usual time today, which wasn’t great as it is Saturday. TT had to get into Edinburgh to meet up with colleagues as they were doing a run. I got up soon after he left. It was such a lovely morning, I decided to go for a walk down to the river. It was frosty, but sunny and bright.
Once home I had some toast, took a punt at hanging some washing out, did a few chores, then got myself ready to head out to catch a bus to Edinburgh. It was running late which was very annoying. I had hoped to do a couple of errands in town, but I ended up just having enough time to get meet up with TT and a fiend for brunch, before our friend went to the Scotland game at Murrayfield. We had a lovely catch up over a delicious brunch.
We then went our separate ways, withTT and I going to the rugby shop to get a scrum cap for BB. We then walked back to John Lewis where I had a voucher for free tea and cake, which felt like a real treat.
We then caught the bus home. BB was happy as Scotland had won. His first question was, what’s for tea? He’s so predictable!!
TT cobbled a quick curry together, which was very tasty. TT and BB then watched a Spider-Man film, while I was determined to finish my book, which I did. I was feeling very tired, so left them to the film and had an early night.
The river was very calm thus morning.
