No longer ghosts

Last Wednesday's ghosts have turned out to be trees after all. I photographed them following my walk to the gym to say hello to my aquafit friends, even though I couldn't join them in the pool. Once again, on her way home from the class, Ali C invited me in for a cup of tea, chocolate biscuits, and lots and lots of chat.

The weather has been rather weird today. It's felt a little like April with sharp showers interspersed by sunny spells. Mr hazelh and I managed to slip outside during a dry period to cut back our raspberry canes and move the blueberry bush to a spot where it should get more sunshine. Last year it was crowded out by the rather prolific raspberries. As a result, it did not produce much fruit.

We also worked together to make all our bookings for an April holiday that will take us to Chichester by train, Lyme Regis by car, Bristol by train, and back home to Edinburgh by plane.

The electricians came back today to do a little more work. It appears that our recent central heating woes are over - we hope...
