Winter Hedgerow

A view through the hedgerow into an area being managed for wildlife. If you look very carefully you may be able to see a tiny bird box amidst the branches of the bushes.

It’s been a grey day with the occasional brightness in the sky. We lost our power for a few hours this morning but it was restored in time for lunch.

I now have some fabric I’m going to use to make Merlin a blanket. I’ve spent some time today testing how the fabric works when I put it through the sewing machine. All seems well but there are a few sewing supplies I want to get to help me before I begin to make the blanket.
