Almost ...........

 ............... MonoMonday!!

What a horribly grey, dismal and wet day today.  Even the lovely green woodpecker looked miserable, in the rain at about 08.00, this morning.

Marginally less dismal on large .......

Money is running out of this house like Niagara Falls ........... today a full new fuse box fitted which also meant copious cups of tea and a bacon sandwich mid-morning.  Discount given by the lovely electrician, Nathan (another Nathan!!).   Tomorrow our Worcester boiler is due a service ........... more tea!     

We are also going to have to bite the bullet and get a stairlift - Himself is REALLY struggling and resorting to an "all fours" climb up and a very wobbly descend.
  
Options were:  
A home lift (at £15,000 I think not!), move our bedroom downstairs into the dining room (nah), convert the double garage (prefer not), move house to a bungalow (expensive taking into account bungalows cost more than houses and there are all the fees that go with a move) or a stairlift.
A stairlift it is, then.   
Now there's all the hassle of hard sell salesmen and varying quotes.   
I'll either be putting my 'hard nose, no nonsense hat' on or my 'poor little old pensioner with a sick husband hat' on!!!!  :o))  We shall see.
