Gorse

Ulex europaeus

Out sharpish this morning to get my hair cut. Even in the low early light the gorse was glowing. It's planted round a budget hotel in town and nobody cares for it at all. But I don't think gorse really needs to be pampered. 

Then I picked up a click and collect order, popped into Lidl for fruit and came home. The fence which blew down in the last storm is being replaced today. At least the work has started. It's more of a stockade than a fence so a big job. 

I'll be off to collect the girls from school this afternoon then home this evening. Making a plan for a bit of walking next month. Hope it works out.
