Pontoon prattle

At least that cold wind has died down, though it's still rather dull and uninteresting! I walked down to the town this morning and had a walk along the beach - the tide was right out. I always hope to find something interesting but never have, apart from shells and stones.

I did a bit of shopping and took a few pictures along the sea front - I wondered what these guys were doing out on the marina pontoons. When I blew the picture up I saw that the sign says 'No Berthing', so I don't think they were waiting for a boat.

I wandered about the town and on the way home encountered another moggie - this one lives at the end of our road and is a very affectionate puss, my extra today. He has what looks like a twin brother who is a great deal less friendly - it's unfortunately pretty hard to tell them apart! 

I'd been out for a couple of hours and my legs were moaning. Too much scrambling over rocks!
