St. Valentine’s Day

We continued with our packing and laundry detail. Jamie texted to let us know Isla had another fever caused seizure. It lasted so long that her mother called for an ambulance. The EMTs monitored her until they felt she was stable enough to go to urgent care with her parents. She tested negative for any major illness; they diagnosed her with an unspecified virus. Poor little girl. Later we took Valentine gifts to the neighbor. Then we got ready for our night out on the town. As you can see, it was a very nice event. I used my sister’s phone to get the shot of them. She took the photo of us. Of course, after they were kissy kissy, we had to follow suit. Geez. We are blessed to have hubbies who still courageously display their love for us strong old women in public. The meal was tasty but the desserts - oh my! Kim sent a text about Brooklyn receiving the Will Smith Leadership award after her Sunday 10:00 basketball game. We quickly changed our going home plans. We will leave after the concert tomorrow night and drive until around 1:00 am. That way, we should get to her game at close to 10:00 as traffic allows. She will be very surprised. I hope I can stay awake to support hubby. We are used to going to bed after midnight so we should be fine. I wish you safe travels this weekend.
