White heather

Many years ago, before it became common to purchase heather plants for your garden, white heather was quite a rare sight and it was considered lucky, as well as being a delightful sight, to come across a rare piece of white heather in the wild amongst the common pink heather. I feel I have to be honest here and admit to this one in my garden being a bought plant.
It was a bit of a grey day so I spent much of it indoors, making a start on the spring cleaning. Like white heather, this is also a rare occurrence in my life, although I feel delighted with the room that I completed.
