Gunpowder

Mrs C has been out all day today, so I’ve been home alone. But I’ve not been idle. I’ve defrosted the freezer and done all the ironing. Whilst all the ice was melting in the freezer, I even had a go at rehanging the door to stop it catching on the hinge. It’s better than it was but still not perfect.
I found a load of copper and brass items in the garage. They’ve been there since we cleared the in-laws’ house eight years ago and I reckon the time has come to make a decision about whether to keep them, weigh them in for scrap or sell them on.
As a starter, I gave these powder flasks a quick clean to see how well they scrubbed up. Not too shabby, as it happened, and I think I’d like to hang on to one of them and dispose of the other two.
Just a question now of deciding which one I want to keep…
