out to my back yard...

It is a very quiet Sunday morning, especially without a yard sale. I'm told the sales are at a different location on Sundays. I am thankful I could enjoy my coffee in peace. 

The cranky feet are dictating the agenda. I'm staying home with my sewing machine. I have a stack of teacups block completed and am moving on to another teapot. I've arranged the fabrics for it and will sit and sew in my front window watching the world go by. 

I paused to have a look out my back door before I settled to work. The doves in the neighbourhood are appearing as pairs and making all those amorous noises that they do. I watched a pair preening on my neighbour's light post. Imagine performing one's ablutions on the highwire! 

It will be my second day shoeless.....my feet seem to appreciate the holiday. I must crack on with my quilt blocks.
