Ffiws gwyrdd ~ Green fuse

“The force that through the green fuse drives the flower
Drives my green age; that blasts the roots of trees
Is my destroyer.
And I am dumb to tell the crooked rose
My youth is bent by the same wintry fever.”
― Dylan Thomas, (.The force that through the green fuse drives the flower' , '18 Poems', 1934)

Rydyn ni ei gweld hyn bob blwyddyn. Egni'r planhigion newydd yn saethu drwy'r dail wedi'u taflu o'r hydref blaenorol. Mae'n arwydd o dywydd cynhesach sy'n dod, yn gobeithio.

We see this every year. The energy of the new plants shooting through the discarded leaves from the previous autumn. It's a sign of warmer weather to come, hopefully.
