Bottled Litter
The wild gale continues to blow. Overcast and dull, but thankfully dry in the morning. Heavy rain after lunch and into the evening. Slightly calmer tonight.
I've been working with Cliffy again today, this time a day of bulk waste removals. We've been in Lerwick, Gulberwick, Scalloway, Vidlin, Brae and Hillswick. In the afternoon it was eatery oil waste collections. Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's. Another shift in the shop, a steady flow of customers. Feet up before bed.
Stopped off at the Co-op for break. After walking by not only a litter bin, a glass recycling bin too, came back to the van and saw this bottle (along with others), thrown into the field. I don't get littering, never will, there is no need to throw the bottles into a field with livestock, and wildlife too. Some folk don't seem to care, leave it for someone to deal with. Bet these kind of people would be the first to moan if their property was trashed by littering. Empty beer bottle, looking to Strip, from the Co-op, Brae.
