Best day

The forecast suggested today would be the best day of the week, and it was. Short walk before breakfast and then off up onto the moor. Sun was shining, no rain, wind not too bad and a rainbow. Few more people than usual up there but still quiet.
Read a bit when we got back, and think I had a nap as I dropped my book.
Wonderful to see lapwings arriving for the start of their season up here.
Cobbler for dinner, and a glass of red while cooking.
Planning to watch Reacher tonight, three episodes available so might manage two tonight.
Home in the morning as we are dog sitting for daughter next week.
