Dramatic end of changeable day

Cloudy, windy, sunny, stormy, drying, rainy and dramatic could all be used to describe the weather here today. A right mixture, which I guess some weather forecasters got right, but 'mixed' would also describe it.

We did however end with this dramatic sky as the sun started to disappear toward the horizon. Our guest left today and we did get the bedding washed and dried outside this morning.

Comings and goings, whether of the weather, or family/friends, or opportunities or events all mark the passing of time, as do the seasons out in the fields.

"Things may come, change and go, but the 'Word of the Lord' endures for ever" is my rough translation of God's promise about his faithfulness and his truth. I've probably mixed up a few quotes there, but it does sum up a lot of truth.
