Bass Rock

The Bass from Ravensheugh Sands. Packed up the flat this morning and parked at Tyninghame Links. From there we walked through the woodland to the beach. A lovely walk along the sand with Flora rushing into the waves. Now sitting in the Tyninghame Smithy for coffee before we set off home. 

It's been a great couple of days and although it wasn't Arran we have had a good mini break on the east coast. North Berwick really is a perfect spot. 

This evening we're wassailing. Singing to the trees in the community orchard to wish them a bountiful season. It sounds so charmingly far fetched that I can't possibly miss the experience.
