Chester Cathedral

The first full day of our trip to Chester. Mr PB went off to Bangor-on-Dee to the races and I spent the morning wandering round the city centre. The weather was very pleasant and I even managed a cuppa outdoors in a cafe on the city walls , close to the well- known landmark of the Eastgate Clock, and the Cathedral, which has very attractive gardens. This afternoon, it turned cooler and wetter so I went for a bus ride into Wales along the Dee estuary.
