Joe Tree Day 2025

What a splendid spring  day to celebrate Joe Tree, founder of Blip.
The sky has been blue and the sun has shone for many hours today.
I captured this hazel tree, full of catkins, in our local  wildlife area, this afternoon. 
Earlier, and later, we have been tidying up the house in preparation for visitors tomorrow. The bright sunshine showed up all the dust! Some of the house plants made a short trip outside to be dusted and showered too. 
However, troubling us, in the back ground, all day, has been the fallout from the excruciating meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump and  his henchman JD Vance, which took place yesterday in the Oval Office of the White House. Trump's bullying behaviour was a complete travesty of  the office of  President of  the USA. Very worrying times lie ahead for all of us , l fear. 
But, fortunately,  there are still many good things in life, such as this fine Blip Community.
