Saturday morning work party. With Tom, a new chap pictured here on the right, being shown the starting drill for the re-engined Dumbo. It didn’t go particulary well, the battery being flat. The old engine only had a starting handle. A bit of a crank, but 100% reliable. That’s progress. 
So that allowed me to get home early enough to slap the third coat of Mendip Mist on the lookout. I’m getting close to application of the Clotted Cream. That's a colour.

The big news is all from the mad Court of King Donald. For after being showered with gifts and flattery from Macron and Starmer, it was Zelenskyy’s turn to roll up at the White House. He hadn’t read the script or else he couldn’t be arsed with going along with the charade, which seemed to enrage his hosts, particularly JD Vance. Oh dear. Amusing if it wasn’t so serious and appalling. The poisoner in the Kremlin will be enjoying it all.
