The Feast Day of Saint Cunegund. Circa 1014. St Cunegund was the wife of Duke Henry of Bavaria, who became Holy Roman Emperor in 1014. St Cunegund persuaded her husband to found the cathedral and monastery at Bamberg. After her husband passed away, the Empress Cunegund kept a vow she had made to God when she, by God's grace, recovered from an almost fatal illness. The vow included founding a nunnery at Kassel and herself becoming a nun.

This week has begun cold and cloudy. It was 6c but feels like 3c according to Google weather forecast. I think it seemed colder.
I have done some washing which is drying.
Then, praying, reading, crocheting and lunch.
Not a day to complain about.
I hope you all have a good Monday.
Thank you for the stars yesterday.
