Some crocheting.
The Feast Day of Saint Casimir " the Peacemaker".
Born 3rd October 1458. Krakow, Poland. Died 4th March 1484. Grodno. Lithuania.
Patron saint of batchelors, kings, princes, youth, Poland, Lithuania.
We are blessed with a wonderful sunny day and dazzling sunshine this afternoon.
I went to Best One shop this morning for Gardening News and Daily Mail so Paul could solve the puzzles.
I went to our local Co op to put a few items in the Parish Church crate which helps to feed 25 families in our small town.
The needs of many are being impacted by the cost of living and for as long as we can, it makes sense to feed those who are in need of food.
I took some photos of pink viburnum flowers this afternoon and photos of the Silver Maple tree.
Lent begins tomorrow. I will admit, it is spiritually up to each one of us how we face Lent. It doesn't say in the Bible "Do Lent." Nonetheless, it can be good for our soul or character to exercise self control and fast from chosen things. I will read a Psalm a day for 40 days. I am blessed to have a booklet from the Parish Church called Hear our Prayer. Lent 2025.
I think Lent is a good span of time to pray, reflect on what can be improved in our individual walk with The Lord and help a charity in some kind way, if you can.
Thank you for visiting my site. I appreciate the stars, blip friends.
Note:
Nearly 10pm, I changed the photo because I finished the little crocheted mat and went around the boarder with single crochet stitches to strengthen the edge and neaten it up.
