Highs and lows

In-laws came today. We had a few catch-ups over lunch/coffee and I worked in-between. Angus took care of Audrey.

It was her MMR jab later this afternoon but it clashed with my doc appointment so Angus went in with her. By the time I'd come out they were both outside the surgery and I will never forget the looks on their faces. I don't know who looked more upset, Audrey or Angus.

We took her to the swings (see pic) on the way home to distract her which seemed to work. If only it was so easy to be distracted from bad stuff in adult life this way...
