Still working

The two chaps didn’t get finished in the conservatory today as was promised. The broken window and a broken windowsill are on order. No completion date for that. The electrician is coming on Monday to do the lighting.

I tried to get on with the Colombia book but I am struggling. I usually can choose the pictures that tell the story and find inspiration to arrange a punchy layout but this time it’s not happening. I think with using the phone I am taking too many photos and then I get bogged down.

I was pleased when Carol messaged to invite a group of women for a gin Friday from 4-6. I walked over for 4.30 and Gillian and another interesting woman I’d not met before were already into their gin. Nobody else came but we had a lovely couple of hours laughing and chatting.

I need to get sorted as it’s a busy day tomorrow and Sunday for International Women’s Day.

Nathaniel got a thank you certificate for his hair. It came appropriately on World Book Day yesterday as he got the idea from a book Boys Who Dare to be Different.
