Go Directly to Jail, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect £200....

I couldn't even land on Jail! I pulled into the car park twice, and then asked a Prison Warden, leaving work at 6pm, if i could take a picture of the front door, but she said no! So this is the nearest i could get without landing myself in the place!

As far as i'm aware, there's been no famous inmates in Nottingham Prison. Though, i've found an infamous escapee listed on a site of top ten escapees!

Alfie 'houdini' Hinds is listed as escaping prison 3 times! some sort of a record!

Hinds (1917 – 1991) was convicted for a jewelry robbery and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment in 1953. He escaped from Nottingham Prison after sneaking through the locked doors and over a 20-foot prison wall. After his arrest, Hinds brought a lawsuit against authorities charging the prison commissioners with illegal arrest and successfully used the incident as a means to plan his next escape. He escaped but was captured at an airport five hours later. Hinds would make his third escape from Chelmsford Prison less than a year later. Two years later Hinds was arrested after being stopped in an unregistered car.

so, i escaped too, up the Perry Road, but without the shot i wanted!

Home after a good day at work, meetings again all day, and a nice lunch with the team. Felt like it should've been Wednesday though....
