The mill pond in Emsworth had been drained of water when we passed it this morning. Usually as we pass we pause to see the mini sail boats racing. Instead we sat and watched the gulls and swans feeding in the mud and enjoyed the warm spring sunshine.
I’ve tried to take things easy today so after lunch I did some light weeding and pruning in the garden, then walked Merlin. I think I’ll be having an early night so I can listen to my audiobook.
My blip shows the view across the mill pond towards the sea. The hut in the distance on the left is the starting hut for the (full size) sailing boat races.
Wishing you a relaxing Sunday evening.
