Primroses

A record shot, now that we have some in the garden. More than in previous years but a couple of weeks later than usual. I tried some close ups but they are not the most perfect of specimens, so I've gone for a long range view.

Haven't done much today. Had an Ocado delivery this morning, although it was 10 minutes late so actually this afternoon, which also meant I missed the first 10 minutes of Pompey's magnificent 1-0 victory over league leaders Leeds Utd. We do look safe now. I also may have watched some of the Arsenal game. After full time we had a Skype with daughter#2 to discuss a proposed visit to Munich next month.

I've added an extra from last night's bluegrass evening - The Carrivick Sisters. We hadn't heard of them before but they were super. The evening was held in one of the two local town pubs. The American themed food was really good and by chance our table was next to one with the only other people we knew, so we had someone to talk to too.
