Day 9

Day 9 of my Gratitude/Walk/Photo Challenge. 

Today, above all, I'm grateful that our family are safe in their homes during the storm that continues to rage. Over the course of the day, I've thought about those less fortunate, and how it must feel to be in substandard accommodation, to not be able to heat your home, to not have a fridge and cupboards full of food, to not have a roof over your head. Our cosy life meant our biggest concerns today are our garden fence blowing down, checking our pets were fed and watered, deciding how many potatoes to put in the stovies, whether to ration the Tony's Chocolonely, and whether to have another cup of tea...

No walk today for obvious reasons. I did walk a little, but it was mainly to the fridge, the cooker, the loo, and the sofa...
