News from Home

Martin is holding the fort while I am in Hertfordshire sorting out my Mum's house and my late aunt's flat. He sent me this photo of  my Hippeastrum (Amaryllis) plant which is just coming into bloom. He is going to keep it cool so the flowers will last until I return home!
Today, I started clearing out my Mother's sideboard, then my sister arrived from Cornwall (by train). We made plans for the next few days together.
