Tea and cake

Today, being Mothering Sunday, I invited my Mother to tea and cake with us. While she was at our house my sister C phoned to talk with her, which made it more special.(It's always difficult to catch our Mother by phone when she's in the care home because she's usually doing an activity in the lounge, or on a minibus trip,  and seldom in her room !)
M made the cake and used homemade bramble jelly for the filling
