Blast from the Past

This morning we went in to Northwood, to buy some provisions, and we  called in at an estate agent to see if they might be interested in marketing  our aunty's flat, along side our current agent.They were keen so we went to the flat this afternoon,and met the agents there. We also took some items to the local hospice charity shop, and brought back some old family photos from the flat to sort out. Meanwhile, at my Mum's house we found these old records, and her Keble Martin British  Flora, which I am definitely keeping. Just opening that book and inhaling  the scent of the quality paper takes me straight  back to using the wonderful illustrations and  detailed descriptions to identify plants with my Mother, back in the 1970's.
