Stuff!

Here is a view of the wardrobe in my late Father's office- 93 boxes of slides, each box containing 200 slides - the stuff of nightmares! At least we have now found the code  book detailing the contents of most of the boxes, so we know which ones are likely to be of any interest to us, such as  Box 1 which starts with a few pictures entitled " Helen - 15 hours old".  
( But as well as these slide transparencies, there are loads of photo albums of prints as he often used both media to record an event or holiday!)
We also found our Mum's 70 year old wedding dress. It's looking its age, and not worth keeping. 
My sister returned to Cornwall this afternoon, leaving me with lots of bags of rubbish to take to the tip tomorrow! 
However, the dining furniture exchange ( my dining table and chairs were brought here, in exchange for my Mum's furniture which are of better quality) was undertaken  successfully by two men and a van. 
I'm looking forward to returning to Winchester tomorrrow.
