Welcome home

I was up early, as I had lots to do before heading for home. I loaded my car with rubbish for the local tip/recycling centre, and was there waiting for it to open at 10am.  I reflected that I am my father 's daughter; he too would have been there at opening time ! I noted that I was the only woman on site; the other people were all men "on a mission," either working there, or emptying vehicles  of unwanted goods.
Then, there was quite a bit of tidying up back at my Mum's house, and packing up my belongings. My sister and I will be returning there  in a few weeks' time for further sorting and clearing.
I left about one pm and was back home shortly after three, feeling  quite exhausted, and more than ready for the lunch Martin offered me. He has been looking after the Amaryllis very well in my absence, so it deserves to be my blip today. All four flowers are now open.
