Decommissioned
This is the less than salubrious corner at the entrance to Söderberg Pavilion. The bicycle with the front carrier was commissioned to transport the buns and bread baked above the Pavilion Café to the other two Söderberg properties in Quartermile, but it very quickly seemed to be decommissioned and left to have flat tyres and become a receptacle for half dead looking plants.
Yesterday’s lovely weather didn’t stretch to today although there was a hopeful glimmer about 11 o’clock when I met up with just one other Merry Widow, the other one had found a better offer. We managed to fill her gap well until it was time for lunch.
Daughter #1 and son #2 popped in together for a cuppa and gluten free biscuits in the afternoon. Son #2 has developed gluten and lactose intolerance after either Covid or the vaccination.
It was a very jolly visit- there is safety in numbers when 2 or more of my children visit together, so that they can rib me mercilessly- they are not quite so brave when they come by singly!
