I love this dog.

This photo was taken a few weeks ago and I've waited to publish it here until I heard that a copy has arrived elsewhere.

A friend took it and I have sent an A5 sized framed copy as a thank you to the loved one who is bankrolling Bean's vet visits and medications. It arrived with them yesterday.

It has been another busy day, mostly taken up with a line-trimming marathon ahead of the rain forecast to start at midnight. Not a pleasant job in 29C heat and high humidity.

I won't normally work in those conditions, but I was feeling good so kept going. A fresh wind made it just slightly bearable. And a cool shower at the end of the labouring was glorious.

Thanks for all the positive comments about the cheese press yesterday. We might have cracked it.
