Sunday ...

... Funday.

This afternoon we attended a Lehigh Valley Phantoms hockey game at the PPL Center in Allentown.  A proper camera (one with detachable lenses) wasn't allowed in the center so all my pictures were taken with either my cell phone camera or the little (old) Panasonic Lumix that I haven't used since 2016... which surprisingly still worked ... after charging the battery, of course!  Funny thing is this camera still had an SD card in it with pictures dating back to 2013!

This photo (taken with cell) isn't the best quality considering the atmosphere at the arena but it does show the action of the game.  I've added another one to my Facebook feed of one of the faceoffs.  We don't really know all that much about hockey ... this was only our second or third game ever attended in the past 40 years ... but it was a fun way to spend the afternoon.  We have no idea what the rules are but most of the game seemed like a free-for-all!  LOL!

We left after the second of three 20 minute periods as it was already after 5pm (the game started at 3pm!) and we didn't want to have supper ($$$) at the arena.  Sadly, the LV Phantoms lost the game to the Wilkes Barre Penguins 5 goals to 3.
