Man Up A Pole
We've had a crew working on the telegraph poles on the street today, always interesting to see. I chickened out of blipping the guy in his yellow box right outside our bedroom window so this is a long shot of him down at the end of the street.
We were due to have our feet done but both R the Chiropodist and Tony are coughing and spluttering so we agreed it was probably better to reschedule. Instead, friend Angela and I took a walk out over the moor in the sunshine and had a good catch up.
After lunch I filled up the bird feeder in the drying ground and popped in to see elderly neighbour M for half an hour. I forgot to note that the Drying Ground group was successful in obtaining a small grant from our Village Council so I will be off to the garden centre this week to spend some of it!
Tony spent some time talking to the Octopus Energy man about the possibility of a heat pump and we're booked in for a survey in a couple of weeks. We're not sure whether our house is suitable but we will find out one way or another.
