The Twilight Bark

Sunny but frustrating day. An early start saw youngest, Shadow & I walking to the chemist to collect a prescription. That was all good and walking back, on youngests request we diverted to my parents. She hasn't visited for a while so this was good, especially enjoyed by Dad who enjoyed some banter with her while Shadow did her usual trick of subtly annoying Peggy-Sue ;-D

Upon arriving home though it was difficult getting going to do anything aside from some daily chores. There are 101 jobs on the invisible list, some bigger than others, and after ordering something for one and seeing which B&Q had something in stock for another, off I toddled to the Ashton branch for a small piece of plywood only to find that the webpage stock checker was telling porkies although nearby "Stockport has loads in stock" (grrrr...they didn't yesterday when calling in after our walk!)

The stock at Ashton will allegedly be replenished tomorrow but I may ring them first to save another wasted journey. It was stir fry & salmon for tea followed by a soak in the bath. l'Phone had a quick swim when your Gal dozed briefly but thankfully seems to have survived (again) ... should you be reading this blip I am posting from it.

Pic is of Shadow sat outside the kitchen door doing that thing doggos do of an evening, staring into the distance listening to the Twilight Bark. We think she can no longer hear but it's nice to see her still engaging *^_^*
