Meeting & Mowing

Didn’t sleep very well….. typical when you have to be up & out, for a meeting in Manchester this morning.

My sat nav decided to take me into the City a different way….. long winded! The meeting was ok & I was back home for 2ish.

I took today’s blip as I left the coffee shop where we had met up, which is the Manchester Town Hall, still shrouded in sheeting & scaffolding, mid restoration, apparently 75% completed to date.

Changed into my gardening gear, went over the front lawn & weeded it, then mowed it in the highest setting as it was 7” long…. then mowed it a second time on a midway setting. Next I weeded the border, can now see all the daffs & tulips still to come, that I planted in amongst the skimmia japonicas which are also in flower.

I was bushed by the time it got to 5.30, so the side lawn, which requires the same treatment will be tackled another day!
