The Importance of Being..
A busy, and enjoyable day. This morning we cycled to uke class in warm sunshine. This is a view of one branch of the river Itchen as it flows through the lovely River Park in Winchester.
This evening, we attended our local film club to see the National Theatre Live film of "The Importance of Being Earnest"(performed at the Lyttleton Theatre) which we thought was brilliant. It stars Sharon D Clarke as a marvellous, Caribbean, Lady Bracknell and Ncuti Gatwa as her flamboyant nephew Algernon Moncrieff, but all the characters are hilariously played by a cast of very talented actors. I think Oscar Wilde would have been very proud (especially as in the "Pride" sense)of this production of his famous play.
