Frosty Jetty

I slipped out earlyish again this morning. I went up the East Lake road tp Parkamoor where this jetty looks towards Peel Island (or Wildcat Island as it tends to be called since it was used for the Swallows and Amazons film). I wasn't sure how sure how successful I'd be as the sun would be rising behind me and would take time to light up the fells opposite. I think it worked out OK. My first extra is the view across to the Old Man of Coniston and the second is from the end of the lake at Monk Coniston of the boathouse at Kirkby Quay.

After we'd had breakfast we had to go back to Ambleside for Marian to return an item she bought yesterday. From there we carried on up to Keswick for a walk along the shore there. You'll likely recognise my third extra as the view of Catbells from Friar's Crag.
