Breaking Bud

The red Amaryllis won the race to bloom, probably because this bud is nearest the window. The second bud on this plant will not be far behind. Thanks as always to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.

We'd been out in Peebles, and had the pleasure of meeting our old car (traded in for the Jazz),  parked on the roadside. Unfortunately we didn't meet the new owner but it was looking very smart. And I came home with a few items, a mix of useful and decorative and not a single book!!! But not what I went for.

An update regarding the poor wee lamb blipped yesterday:- S and the Flumlet  went to see the owner of the field and he adjusted the over-sized coat. And this afternoon the farmer was seen attending the lamb so we're hoping all is well.
