An ordinary life....

Hedgerow daffs...

Great sleep last night.  Woke at 5am, loo trip, then slept till 9.45am.  I am enjoying waking up feeling refreshed.  Still feels like a novelty.

Tuna mayo panini for lunch then off to the wound clinic. Nurse is really happy with progress.  Just one tiny little bit about the size of a penny that still needs attention.  She put a little iodine patch on it and covered it up with a waterproof dressing and made a further appointment for me for next Friday.  She thinks that will be the last time I need to be seen.  Here's hoping.

Stopped to pick up some ingredients for dinner on the way home and grabbed a quick pic of some hedgerow daffs on the way home to spare you another crochet or painting blip :-)

Spent a little while in the studio getting the kit together for the acrylic painting course I've signed up for starting on Monday.  As I am one of those people who have all the gear and no idea, I have everything required for the course.  Really looking forward to it.

The postman delivered a very welcome letter from my gynaecologist this afternoon informing me that the pathology results from my op indicate no malignancy or pre-cancerous cells in any of the bits they removed.  They did discover that I had a condition called Adenomyosis, so it wasn't just the  fibroid causing issues!  I am very relieved to receive the letter and I have now been officially discharged from the Gynae Dept.  Yay!  :-)

D got the Gin Palace furnishings out of the loft so despite the rain forecast this weekend, we will hopefully have the Gin Palace ready for its official opening 2025 on the next sunny day :-))
