Life through the lens...

Helmsley

Stopped at Helmsley on our way to Pickering.
I love this view especially at Springtime.
Looking up the little beck lined with daffodils.
Weather dry but a chilly breeze.
After a walk round the town, looking in a few shops and as usual purchased a couple of books from the great little bookshop, we bought one of Hunter’s famous beef sandwiches for lunch.
Drove to the village of Sinnington and had our picnic lunch by the river, before continuing to Pickering.
It is a long time since we were here and so it was nice to have a walk round the town.
The yarn bombers have been busy.
( see extra)

Now checked in to the Premier Inn where we are staying overnight.
Evening meal booked at an Italian restaurant tonight.

The Premier Inn seems quite busy.
I am guessing a lot of the people are booked in for the same reason as us.
Looking forward to a real treat tomorrow morning!
Toot, toot!
