Shore birds

This was our first time on West Kilbride Beach this year I think and was lovely as always. Plenty of bird species to see and to photograph with questionable results. The curlews were dragging various sea creatures out of the shallows as the tide went out. In my second extra, one has a crab in its beak which it kept dropping and picking up again, I don’t think it was swallowed entirely but perhaps a few of the legs were! Main photo is a Rock Pipit I think and second extra a Stonechat which are both photogenic little birds in my opinion.
