Pick your own
It's pick-your-own season and we've finally made it to the local PYO farm.
We hunted for broccoli and cauliflower, courgettes and runner beans, broad beans and strawberries. And found the plums eventually. Bean loved foraging for things and picking them, even though I know he'll probably not eat much of what we collected! Bear tolerated the expedition and eventually fell asleep nursing in the wrap, hastily tied around me in a kind of ring sling fashion.
And that was pretty much the day done.
Lots of things to think about at the moment. There is a part of me that can't help wondering if God brought us down here for Steve to get his "dream" job only for it to be taken away, so that we could grow in faith, and learn humility and humbleness, total reliance on God, and how to pray (more).
I'm glad that Steve and I are connecting again. It's been a hard week so far, we've struggled with connecting and communication. We've both been stressed, feeling very much under attack, unable to think clearly. Grateful for friends who understand and pray. Glad that we're communicating again. Still don't have any answers though!
