or stellata magnolia, in my garden. It seems to be doing quite well this year, in previous years the buds have been nailed by the frost and the blossoms were always tinged with brown - so far they flowers are looking lovely.

I had the usual chores this morning, went to get groceries after walking Xena - Waitrose never seem to have raspberries and if they do they are of poor quality, going squishy after a day.

This afternoon I met a friend for coffee at Gail's in the village (they do make the best flat white) and we had a good catchup, we could not believe the time when we stood up to go. Thank goodness for the Ringo parking app as you can just extend your parking time, so no risk of a fine.

I got a referral from the physio to my GP for my wrist, requesting the GP to write a referral to the hand specialist. My GP has already contacted me about it and has made the referral to the specialist.

No camera club tonight as tomorrow night is the club's 80th birthday.  dinner.
