Beech trees

I walked Xena in the woods at the bottom of our road, Princes Coverts, which in winter is not as option as it is so muddy. However as we have not had any significant rain for so long now it has dried out very well so I could walk there once again. There is an area with beautiful young beech trees so I did an ICM of them as their straight and slender stems were very suitable for that technique.

I had some chores to do in the village so I did those this afternoon. I also wanted to drop off some earrings at a jeweller to be changed but they were closed today, so annoyingly I will have to go back there another day.

Is anyone else watching White Lotus? It is a series set in luxury hotel locations, this latest one is set in Thailand and I am enjoying watching it - some very disagreeable characters, but Jason Isaac is great in it (and there is a momentary scene where he flashes his penis by mistake which apparently will go down as one of the memorable clips of the series!)

Tonight it is the 80th anniversary celebratory dinner of our camera club, we are having it as a very good pub so I am looking forward to that - we have quite a good turn out too.
