Walk - Palermo

The blip is a classic shot including an ancient tree, historic buildings, and mopeds a plenty. We started our walk along the sea front stopping for coffee at the harbour.  Then promenaded along the front on top of the boundary wall. (The hop-on bus told us that all the ladies used to do this, so i was keen ... unfortunately it turned out to be less impressive than i had imagined.) Then to the botanical gardens, very impressive and our favourite bit, after that we headed to town for lunch. Today it was aracini (tuna) for me, G preferred canolli- both Scicilian delicacies. Then a walk round the Arabian quarter before Aperol and home to freshen up. We had each clocked up over 10k.

This evening the weather turned out better than predicted so we headed back into town for a red tuna gnocchi, ice cream - both delicious.
