Today the weather began with low cloud and drizzle - dreich - as I walked Django, and then cleared up as I worked: handling admin about my Finished PhD student J's viva, taking a call with a team in India that is using one of our solvers for energy planning, and marking the class test.

At the end of the afternoon, as the rain came on more heavily, I drove to the Royal Infirmary to pick up A. She's a bit sore, and won't have as much energy as usual for a while. Fortunately there's the last of the risotto for us to share.
