'Hoarder'

I always say that you can't talk anyone into taking up running. It seems like everyone hates it, at least until they get into it.

That said, I've been trying to convince Simon for a while that we could have a great time running along the canal paths if only he'd take it up. To be fair, he was - unlike me - a keen runner during his schooldays, so maybe it's not quite some much of a stretch that he's (finally) asked me to go for a run with him.

Anyway, after Park Run with Hannah, this morning, I met up with him and we went for a gentle run, just over two miles, taking in The Meadows and Peel Park. And it was great; no need to stop and we chatted all the way 'round.

We met up again just before lunch for a trip out to Rogue Studios so that I could see his most recent work, a film entitled 'Where Will The Souls Of The Dead Now Live?'.

It was great and I watched it twice, end to end, while Simon was talking to the studio owners.

There wasn't much else there that caught my eye, to be honest, although I was drawn to this piece by its title, 'Hoarders'.

Have I mentioned this before? It's estimated that about three percent of the nation are hoarders, so many people that the fire brigade has special protocols for dealing with their houses (as they're typically packed with flammable goods).

But I couldn't make head or tail of the artwork.
